Lindsay Johnson, cellist, is a Las Vegas local and a Nevada School of the Arts Alumni.

Lindsay graduated from Las Vegas Academy of Performing and Visual Arts, received her associate degree in Music Performance from College of Southern Nevada, and her bachelor’s degree in Music Education (Instrumental Emphasis) from University of Nevada Las Vegas. During her education, Lindsay studied cello with Robin Reinarz, Dr. Lee Richey, Moonlight Tran, and Dr. Andrew Smith. Lindsay also received several years of piano education under the direction of Dr. Dee Gauss and Dr. Zheni Atanasova. During her higher education, Lindsay was a paraprofessional for various middle schools and high schools in Clark County School District. After receiving her bachelor’s degree, Lindsay taught Elementary General Music for five years in CCSD. She has taught privately from the age of 16 and specializes in Strings and Piano.

During her performing career, Lindsay has played with the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Nevada Chamber Orchestra, Frank! The Man the Music, the Latin Grammys, and many local Opera, Ballet, and Theater companies, as well as countless weddings and other similar events. Currently, Lindsay is a member of David Perrico’s Raider’s House Band and is the Assistant Principal Cellist of the Henderson Symphony Orchestra.
