Strings

Price range: $800.00 through $2,400.00

Starting at $880 / semester

Whether a student is learning for enjoyment or pursuing conservatory and college auditions, the Strings program provides personalized instruction for ages 6 and above through traditional and Suzuki Method approaches.

Faculty members have guided students to acceptance at institutions including Harvard University, Manhattan School of Music, and New England Conservatory, and former students have gone on to perform in major orchestras and serve on university faculties.

Chamber music and ensemble experiences help students develop confidence, artistry, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

Private lessons are the foremost component of a well-rounded musical education. These lessons provide hands-on training in a one-to-one teacher/student setting. With individual attention, the student receives training in technique, repertoire, sight-reading, and performance skills. Nevada School of the Arts offers 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute, 75-minute, and 90-minute lessons for all ages and all levels with highly trained instructors. Beginning and intermediate level students generally take 30, or 45-minute lessons, while more advanced students take 60, 75, or 90-minute lessons.
