Visual Arts: Drawing Techniques Workshop Series : Line + Mark Making + Form + Composition

Grasp fundamentals of one of the most important tools in an artist studio – drawing. This course will follow traditional techniques to familiarize students with basic drawing concepts including line, composition, value, form and expression. Students will use graphite pencils and washes to explore mark making through visual observation of studio still life setups to help improve technical and creative abilities. Further develop fundamental drawing skills that introduce new ways of seeing the world while learning to translate visual observations into two-dimensional works of art on paper.
