This course covers beginning concepts of acrylic painting including color mixing, layering, texture, brush techniques, composition and layout. Students will work from studio set ups and plein air environments around the campus to further develop their understanding of painting as an artistic practice through guided projects to build confidence in the medium. No previous painting experience is required.
